Here is abit more coverage from the brooklands supercar sunday breakfast meeting last sunday.
Great turnout on what could of been another wet and windy day. Some very rare cars on display.
The entry fee was a reasonable £10, which gave entry into the whole museum.
The gates opened at 10am, then at 11-11.30 there was hill demonstrations (got to feel sorry for the porsche gt3 constantly catching the front bumper) 1.30-2.30 saw demonstrations on the mercedes benz world test track and finally 3.45-4.30 more hill runs.
The layout of the day worked very well and the time was spaced well, there was always enough to see or do inbetween the demonstration runs.
In todays blog I will include pictures of some of the supercars on display (many more blog posts and pictures to come)
Dependant on what way you walked in you were greeted by a very rare sight, a Ferrari Enzo,Maserati mc12,ferrari f50,the new Ferrari 458 spider and the ac 378 gt zagato.
A truly lovely sight was the Enzo parked up next to the Maserati mc12, very easy to forget just how rare these cars are with only 50 mc12's available to buy when they finished production, in comparison with the 400 enzo's produced.
Great to see such rare cars out on display and being used on the test track (photo's to come) gave people a great insight into how supercar technology has changed from the basic ferrari f40 to the current 458 spider.
Tomorrows blog will cover other supercars at the event.
